After attempting to do a redesign of their website themselves but being dissatisfied with the results, this client came to me seeking a full redesign, guidance on selection of a new website platform that would allow for more flexibility, site build and search optimization.
After discussing their needs we decided to move from Squarespace to Webflow for increased customisation capabilities while still allowing them to do basic edits to website content. During the design process I made use of Relume and their AI powered sitemap and design tools to create the basic structure of the site and then customized from there. This allowed me to deliver the project on a tight timeline while allowing for custom design elements.
Once the site was built I experimented with using ChatGPT for generating content ideas and streamlining creation of title tags and meta descriptions. While ChatGPT is a fantastic time saver, I found the content generated to be a good starting point, not necessarily the final product.
One of the more enjoyable aspects of this project was the extensive use of images and video throughout the site, creating a very engaging experience.
