Working closely with my client and her web designer in France we built and launched a brand new site based on a fully custom design. The design files were handed off to me in Figma and the client provided all the content in both english and french.
From an SEO standpoint this project was fun as it gave me the opportunity to implement hreflang language-region targeting, ensuring the correct version of the site is served to visitors based on their preferences. Building the language switcher functionality added to the usability of the site.
